What’s the difference between compatible labels and branded labels?
Both work the same. Our Labelcity compatible labels are proudly Australian made and cost less than branded ones.
I have an urgent order. Can you help?
Yes. Call 0800 152 235 and we will prioritise your order. In most cases we can ship overnight.
What if I ordered the wrong item?
Contact us by phone, email or website chat and our team will help. For returns we may issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA)
Do I have to order online?
No. You can call 0800 152 235 or email sales@labelcity.co.nz.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank deposit, all major credit cards and PayPal.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Email your PO to sales@labelcity.co.nz.
Will I receive a tax invoice?
Yes. We email your tax invoice and also include one with your shipment.
Can I open a credit account?
Yes. Call 0800 152 235 or email sales@labelcity.co.nz and we will send a credit application form.
How do I place an order on behalf of a school?
We accept school purchase orders and can offer 14 day terms, or you can pay by card. Email PO to sales@labelcity.co.nz

Labelling Solutions

Do you have labels that are stronger than regular labels?
Yes, options depend on your printer:
I need a specific coloured Dymo LabelWriter label. Do you stock all colours?
We stock popular coloured address labels. If you need a particular colour, we can make it via our custom labels service.
What options do I have for a wireless label printer?
It depends on your needs. See Desktop Printers and Handheld Portable Printers.
What’s the difference between Dymo LabelWriter 450 and 450 Turbo?
Speed. The 450 prints up to 51 labels per minute, the 450 Turbo up to 71 labels per minute.
Can I use my own software to print labels?
Often yes. Call us and we will match a solution to your setup.
What is a thermal printer?
Thermal printing uses heat to create text and images on thermal media, so there is no ink or toner to replace. It is the same technology used for supermarket receipts.
Can your label printers print in colour?
Brother QL-810W and QL-820NWB can print in black and red.
Brother VC-500 prints in full colour.
All handheld printers such as LabelManager or P-touch use coloured tapes (various colours available from our website).
All other Brother QL models print in black only.

Shipping

How will I know when my order has shipped?
We email you as soon as your order ships, including tracking details where available.
How long does delivery take?
95% of orders placed before 2.30pm will be delivered the next business day (CBD area), 2 – 5 days for remote rural areas.
Can I pay extra for express post?
No need. Our satchel-sized orders already ship on an express service.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders placed online over $165 ship free.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Your dispatch email includes a tracking link and number. If you did not receive it, contact us and we will resend the details.
What if my parcel is delayed, lost or arrives damaged?
Contact us with your order number and we will investigate with the carrier. If an item is confirmed lost or damaged in transit we will arrange a suitable remedy in line with our policy.
How do I request a refund or return?
Get in touch with our customer service team and let us know what you want to return. If eligible, we will issue an RMA with instructions. Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the return. Items must be resaleable unless faulty under the CGA.
Tip: Keep original packaging until you are sure you have the right item.
